Katie Kotter grew up in Vincennes, Indiana. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 2004 and received her B.S. in Public Affairs at Indiana University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2008. Katie received her law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law-Bloomington, where she graduated cum laude in 2011. After law school, Katie returned to Vincennes to practice with Hart Bell.
Katie is licensed to practice law in Indiana and Illinois. Her practice areas include real estate, estate planning, probate, business formation and planning, guardianships, debt collection, and civil litigation.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Kolby, and their son, A.J. She also enjoys spending time with her family at East Fork Lake, yoga, Netflix documentaries, and traveling.
Katie is an active member of Vincennes Rotary and the Knox County Bar Association. She also serves on the Board for the Knox County Chamber of Commerce and Children and Family Services.
